One Call Move

Who's behind the number

About One Call Move

Moving got outsourced to forms, portals, and auto-dialers. We put a person back on the other end of the line.

The idea

Every move is a small project-management job nobody applied for: an agent to find, movers to vet, utilities to schedule, a timeline that keeps threatening to collapse. The industry’s answer has been more websites that collect your number and sell it. Ours is older-fashioned: one phone number, one coordinator, one plan.

Who answers

One Call Move is coordinated by the team of Cindy DePaola, Broker/Owner of NextHome Providence in the Charlotte area, licensed in North Carolina (NC 290617) and South Carolina (SC 100228), working with a nationwide network of licensed agents and vetted service professionals. Verify the licenses yourself at the NC Real Estate Commission and SC LLR — never take a website’s word for a license, including ours.

Why it’s free

Licensed referral fees — paid by the agents and providers we connect you with, out of their side, never yours. We’d rather disclose the model in plain English than hide it in a footer. (It’s also in the footer.)

The family of sites

One Call Move is part of a small Carolinas-rooted group: 411Move for researching where to land, Real Estate Agent Listing for choosing your own agent from a vetted directory, and DonateLand for unwanted land. Different doors, same principle: a person, not an auction.
